My 250 have 16 800 km (10500 miles) on. and I had all the problems you guys have and more. Lets start at the beginning:
CDI Blew. Agents ask me about $240 for an OEM part. After some research I found a 6 pin CDI for about $46. only had to take of the extra wire for the reverse limiter.
Ball Joints - Now this was a big problem. Agents only sell complete A Arms for the DS (@ $400) a piece. Again, I said to myself, Can Am do not manufacture ball joints, must get them somewhere. Went on the FRAP website where I got a scematic of ball joint with all dimensions. After measuring the ball joint of the DS I found that the Polaris Outlaw?Predator take the same ball Joint. Got some 'OEM' parts at a dealer for $80 each.
